With Thanksgiving right around the corner, we are reminded of the many blessings in our lives. We are thankful for our health, our families, and our friends. We are also grateful for the opportunity to serve others in need.
The Bible tells us to “give thanks in all circumstances” (1 Thessalonians 5:18). This can be difficult to do when facing challenges, but it is essential to remember that God is always with us. He is our source of strength and comfort in the good and the bad times.
At i58 Ministry, we are thankful for the opportunity to help families in need and for the support of our volunteers and donors. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of others.
This Thanksgiving, let us all take some time to reflect on the many blessings in our lives. Let us also remember those who are less fortunate than us. And let us give thanks to God for His love and faithfulness!
Making an Impact
On Saturday, November 2nd, i58 Ministry hosted a distribution day with the help of dozens of volunteers from several churches and donors. Thanks to your generous support, we could give away turkeys and chickens to families in need. We are so grateful for the opportunity to partner with every church that sacrifices every month to help the ministry continue in our community. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of others.
This is seen and felt most in our recently launched i58 Bible Study. This is the second month we’ve done this, and on November 6th, we had 13 adults and 4 children join us! One lady shared how excited she was to receive a turkey on the distribution day. She said that she would now be able to have Thanksgiving because she received a turkey!!! It is the little things that make a difference. We may take so much for granted sometimes, but we’re humbled by the reminder of these seemingly small ways that the people we are with are being impacted for Christ.
