Reflecting on Generosity and a Great Distribution DayDear Family and Friends, We hope you are experiencing a blessed December as we celebrate the season of giving! At i58 Ministry, we continue to see God moving and providing for our mission to help our community thrive with the love of Christ. Giving Tuesday Campaign UpdateWe want to thank you for your incredible support during our Giving Tuesday Campaign. We are delighted that your generous gifts have brought us almost halfway to our $10,000 goal! Your investment covers critical administrative costs for months, allowing our ministry to focus on relationship-building and sharing the hope of Jesus with families in the DFW area. This ministry is truly our ministry together. Recapping the December Distribution DayThe fantastic December distribution day on Saturday was a resounding success! We had a wonderful day of outreach, with 74 volunteers from 13 different churches and organizations joining us to serve the community. We were honored to have the Mayor of Farmers Branch, Terry Lynne, serve alongside us. Mayor Lynne worked hard to serve his community and brought a photographer to capture the event. Pictures of the day were shared on the Carrollton City Limits Facebook page, and a video is expected to be posted by the end of the year. As part of our mission to provide seasonal supplies and gifts, we were excited to distribute stuffed animals we received from Adventure Kids Camp this summer. This distribution of toys and gift items helps us prepare for the holidays with our i58 families. Community Partners Show UpThe December event highlighted the deep commitment of our volunteers and partners. Nine people from Valin Corporation helped with the set-up on Thursday, and several of them returned on Saturday to serve. Valin Corporation also demonstrated its generosity by donating $1,000.00 to i58 on Givebutter. In addition to this corporate support, we received significant financial contributions: $2,000.00 from the Texas Baptist Hunger Fund and $7,000.00 from individual donors.
