With the year coming to a close, we look forward to our next year. We have a new transition to picking up our food from North Texas Food Bank starting in January. This will bring an opportunity for more food and better variety for our families!
Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Although we need food to live, our greatest need is Jesus.
The work of providing for the hungry is a great opportunity to share the hope of the message of salvation. We are excited that i58 Bible Study has continued to meet faithfully every Wednesday. Our group has had 13 people every week, but not the same 13 people. We desire for those who have come to continue to come each week and grow in Christ together!
At i58 Ministry, we are giving hope to families struggling to make ends meet. This time of year is very hard for many, as the holidays can be a reminder of loss. You have helped to bring a community to those suffering in our neighborhoods!
Making an Impact
On Saturday, November 7th, i58 Ministry hosted a distribution day with over 87 volunteers! Although it sounds like a lot, it is monumental in helping us accomplish our goal to help all the families driving through have a great interaction with us, as we embody the love of Christ. We were able to deliver more turkeys and chickens for families to celebrate Christmas together as they eat around their tables. Through your generosity, we included a toy for every young child. May they know they are cherished and loved with a gift this Christmas!
