More Than a T-Shirt

We’re excited to announce our “More Than a Shirt campaign, which serves as a moving tribute to Marty Earls, a beloved member of the i58 family who recently went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer.

Marty was more than just a volunteer; he was a shining example of what it means to live out our mission. He was always the first to lend a hand, offer a kind word, and share his infectious joy with everyone he met. And he often did it with an i58 shirt proudly displayed!

Below, we linked a video showing that t-shirts are more than just clothing. They represent:

  • Belonging: Connecting us to a community of like-minded people seeking to serve Christ on a mission.
  • Action: Inspiring us to serve others and make a difference.
  • Beacon of hope: Offering support and encouragement to those in need.
  • Symbol of family: Reminding us that we’re all part of something bigger than ourselves.

Marty truly understood this. He lived out the message: THE KINGDOM IS BUILT IN THE STREETS BY THOSE WILLING TO LEAVE THE PALACE.

He was always willing to go the extra mile, step outside his comfort zone, and share God’s love with everyone he encountered. We miss Marty dearly, but his legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the example he set for us all.
