On Saturday, September 7th, our ministry was blown away by the support for such an impactful community service day! We had a whopping 84 volunteers from 6 different organizations and churches! Because of you, we provided food and support to many needy families and even had the opportunity to pray with and encourage hundreds in need within the Farmer’s Branch community.
A God Story
During our drive-thru check-in, a woman named Gloria asked for prayer before her upcoming surgery. We prayed with her, and she later shared that the surgery went well, and she felt much less nervous thanks to our ministry outreach. Every month, there are dozens of little God moments like this, and if we were to share them all, we could fill a book! Let us know if there are any stories of God moving while you’ve served at an i58 Distribution Day. We’d love to know about it and share it if we can!
Expanding Our Reach
We’re excited to announce that i58 is growing! In addition to welcoming 27 new families to our program, we’re starting a bilingual Bible study on Wednesday, October 9th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. This will be a great opportunity for families to connect and grow together.
